This term we are learning about the Stone Age. We have looked at where it fits on a timeline and learnt about the 3 different parts of the Stone Age. We learnt about animals through our literacy text; Cave Baby, and are now learning about what life was like through The Stone Age Boy.
This week we looked at fosilised poo (coprolite) from the Stone Age times. By learning through hands-on experiences the children get to investigate, infer and explore what happened in the past.
Next week we are learning how to cook as the Stone Age people would have done – on an open fire!
