We had a fantastic Ancient Egyptian day. The Living Workshop really brought ancient Egypt to life for us. We made our own cartouches by sanding down the metal and engraving our initials in hieroglyphics. We played Tomb Raider, carved our own figures, wrote our own afterlife spells on papyrus paper, weaved with reeds, ground grain to make flour, learned how to play a game called Senet, took part in an artefact quiz, mummified apples and lots more!
