As part of our history topic about the Normans, Year 4 went on a trip to Battle Abbey. We enjoyed following a trail on the battlefield and standing where the famous Battle of Hastings took place in 1066. We also enjoyed exploring the ruins and looking at artefacts in the museum. Some of us climbed the tower to enjoy the view of Battle.
